PARLIAMENTARY STANDING COMMITTEE WORKING FOR THE LABOUR LAWS SHOULD RECOMMEND THE SYSTEM FOR GOOD HEALTH INSURANCE UNDER ESIC

HOSPITAL FACILITIES TO THE WORKERS UNDER ESIC--The Parliamentary standing committee working on the labour laws has asked the government to consider the reform and the policy change through which the GOI and the private sector employees ESIC could take control of the larger state run ESI hospitals in order to ensure better service to those insured . The committee working on the captioned subject matter deliberation noticed for the ESIC hospitals has claimed that a very heavy investment has been done during the past several years ramped up for the social service and security emphasizing the policy changes and need to improve the facilitation it has become necessary to provide required facilities to the workers as prescribed under the provision made by the ESIC guidelines.The ESI has a net work of 159hospitals and 1453 state run ESI dispensaries for which the labour laws are required to be amended with the provision of policy changes discussed for the future course of action under
