A THREE MEMBERS APPELLATE AUTHORITY MAY CONSIDER REPRESENTATION OF THE COMPLAINANT AGAINST THE AWARD GIVEN BY THE OMBUDSMAN, LOCATED IN THE OFFICE OF THE NODAL DEPARTMENT (MGNREGA) .
MINUTES OF MEETING (ONLINE WITH NATIONAL CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE ON 3-3-2024:-- Today on 3-3-2024 online meeting scheduled by the National campaign committee was attended by the RTI welfare group registered number HPCD-3552 HP which was attended by Er FC. Guleria, in addition to the other members of Chamba zone Shri Pyar Muhammed and Shri Uttam Chand Vashishtha along with the National representatives of the working committee for promotion of the RTI act adjudication. Shri Pyar Muhammed raised the issue of MANRESA where in he further stated in the house for discussion (online) meeting held and convened for the new era entrants joining the event for resolving their issues and problems. As for as the question of MGNREGS related to HP was raised it is too revealed by the State body members Shri Pyar Muhammed and Shri Uttam chand vashishtha that at present there is no ombudsman in the Chamba district of HP however the cases are being referred to the said office of the Ombudsman which is not correct and justified under the provision made and created for the welfare of community people demanding their genuine rights and eligibility from the government corridor however delayed because of the such linking for conclusive decision of the pending cases at district levels administration. As for as the work and conduct of the ombudsman is concerned , he will sent copy of award to complainant, the MGNREGS authorities against the DPC and state government shall set up a three member appellate authority, consisting of an academician, a retired civil servant and a civil society representative, to consider representation by any party aggrieved by the awards of the ombudsman, such a representation shall be disposed of with in a period of two months by the appellate authority. Office of the appellate authority shall be located in the office of the nodal department of the state government implementing MGNREGA, Expenses of the said appellate authority shall be borne by state from the six percent administrative expenditure permitted under section 22(1) (c) of the MGNREGA.
