SUPREME COURT'S DECISION MAY ALLOW THE KIDS OF THE OCI's FOR ENTRY TO THE MEDICAL COLLEGES OF THE GOVERNMENT.
The Supreme court of India in its order issued to the National Testing Agencies working for the results of the Medical courses NEET -UG results related to the children of resident - Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) to consider the admission of the children in the government medical colleges .The said order was issued by the bench of justice S Abdul Nazeer and Krishna Murari came on the bunch of petitions filed by the children of the OCI parents, who have been residing in India for the past seven to seventeen years of the duration, and challenging the notification barring their kids from competing for the general category courses seats in the MBBS pertinent to the government colleges . " The other possible fear of the government emanates from the fact that since the citizenship of the parents of the kids of the OCI lie with the foreign countries and not given up so the barring children will use the resources of India and then run away to the foreign countries to earn more " had been the version of the court of law .
