MINUTES OF ONLINE MEETING HELD WITH THE CHAMBA ZONE OF ENTRANTS TRYING FOR THE PROGRESS REPORT OF CHAWARI TUNNEL AND APPOINTMENTS OF THE VACANT POSTS OF SIC AND SCIC

It was an occasion today on 7-9-2026 when attended online RTI meeting with the Chamba zone of RTI activists and task force volunteers from 3.00 pm. to 3.45 pm. which was attended by Shri Uttam Chand Vishishth, former BDC jadera Shri Ramesh Chand Thakur and Shri Prasant Mahajan a leading press correspondent and RTI activists along with some new era entrants working for the welfare of society and circle and raising different issues regarding their problems and demanding posts of the SIC and SCIC at Shimla, where both the posts of SCIC and SIC lying vacant since long however no decision issued by the Committee for consideration of cases under sub section (3) of section 12 , even this much cross and pass of vacant slots after retirement of the former SIC and SCIC, where people are facing problems because of delay and dereliction of duty at the levels of State Information Commission, more over FAAs are also reluctant to decide pending cases under section 19(6) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 and files are kept pending. Some people have also taken issue and matter of Chuwari tunnel, where DPR has been submitted to the Government but work has not been taken in hand and people are demanding their work done from the government corridor for which no further comments are available on the captioned subject matter deliberation required to be predicted under section 4 of the RTI act, 2005 , silent on the further progress of work, so it is necessary to have RTI before the Chief Engineer HPPWD Dharamshala district Kangra, so that pending issue and matter may be discussed during the course of hearing before the FAA and necessary records may be obtained from the competent authority for decision making, for which Chamba zone of the activists are requested to take the pending issue and matter of Chuwari tunnel with PIO working in the office of Chief Engineer HPPWD Dharamshala district Kangra and have access to information on the issue and matter in the interest of accuracy and correctness:-- Er Fateh chand Guleria, Director RTI welfare Association registered number HPCD, 3552 , Bilaspur Himachal Pradesh phone number, 9459334377
