KARNATAKA GOVERNMENT ANNOUNCED 17 PERCENT HIKE IN BASIC AND PANEL FOR OLD PENSIONARY BENEFITS TO THE EMPLOYEES

The Karnataka Government employees called off their after the state government decision to 17 percent hike in the basic salary as the interim relief and agreed to set up a panel to look into their other demands like the reintroduction of the old pension scheme for the Employees who joined service after 2006 and the revised pay have been made effective with effect from April this year. There is a strength of about nine lakh government employees and three lakh pensioners in the state which will increase the cost of state exchequer about rupees 900 crore a month .From the decision of the Karnataka Government it is clear that the state governments are deciding the issue and matter of old pension scheme at their own and not taking cognizance of the centre too responsible to protect the pensionary benefits of the government employees at one position and placement of the pensionary benefits for which the new pension scheme has also been continued in the various states onwards 2003 ,however the government employees are demanding old pension scheme for which the employees are struggling for their amazing benefits since long however the state governments are not clearly explaining the situation and position of created new pension scheme and the demanded old pension scheme for which the government of India and the department of personnel must clear the picture of the vision funds for generating pensionary benefits and withheld for the due release in favor of the employees demanding genuine right and benefits under the service rendered by the government employees and due for the emoluments of reasonable salary and subsistence since the long.
