Minutes of the online meeting attended by the RTI activists of Maharashtra wherein former CIC Sh. Shailesh Gandhi also addressed the house of the existing activists

An online RTI meeting was convened by the Maharashtra RTI activists the meeting was also attended by the former CIC Shri Sailesh Gandhi in addition to the other RTI activists and the social workers
The former CIC Shri Sailesh Gandhi described in the held discussion that the social activist and the veteran leader Shri Anna Hazare tried his level best to work for the welfare of society and circle and initiate the movement of awareness drive against the corruption and also to bring transparency in the administration during the year 2003 for which the parliament released RTI act publications in favour of the citizens of this country during the year 2005 .The matter related to the Lokpal Bill had also been initiated by the veteran leader Shri Anna Hazare however the former CIC Shri Sailesh Gandhi felt dissatisfied with the working of the society and circle as people are reluctant to follow the RTI publications even though the said act is not only a fundamental right of the people of India but also saving the democratic set up of the society related as to the good governance and accountability under the charter of public demands and the utility for which the public is only responsible to protect the fundamental rights As regards the dereliction of duty by the public authorities the matter could be brought to the notice of higher authority under law and rules if found necessary by the study of impact assessment realised by the organisation working for the welfare of society and circle and pointing out the queries in relation to the penalty and disciplinary action against the non compliance and wrong interpretation of the law and rules would also be the required.necessity of the citizens of this country to bring it to the notice of the competent higher authority for redressal of their grievances but it is regretted for the such review and revision at the level of the public being responsible to highlight the action against the defaulters under section 20 of the RTI act publications . Under these conditions and circumstances of the empowerment delivered to the citizens of this country it is necessary to protect the fundamental rights first as such very very less numbers of the citizens of this country are availing this use and exercise of the RTI act publications and blaming the political parties for the wrong doings in the administration even though the act ibid is a matter of fact and concern as working for the welfare of society and circle however the implementation of the RTI act publications made by the study of impact assessment realised by the survey conducted in this behalf is still not satisfactory even the said act publications has been amended.during the year 2019 is also a fact finding concern  of the public and any more amendment of the RTI may also be demanded by the public or the organisation working for the welfare of society and circle and following the use and exercise of the RTI act 2005.
