ARTICLE 19(2) OF CONSTITUTION PROTECT RIGHT OF FREEDOM IN EXPRESSION :--Right to protest is a fundamental right of the citizens of country . The right in article 19 (2) protects the freedom in expression in any medium and the Article 19 (1) (b) of the constitution says "All citizens shall have the right to assemble peacefully for the cause of democratic demand and the protests " however the Article 19 (3) authorised to impose reasonable restrictions on this right in the interests of sovereignty and integrity of the country and the Article 51 A enjoins the duty upon the citizens of country to safeguard the public property and to abjure the violence too. Article 21 of the constitution of India says that no person shall be deprived of his life and health or the personal liberty except according to the procedure followed by the established study made by the law and rules . The procedure prescribed by the law has to be fair and reasonable and not to be fanciful,oppressive or the arbitrary.
