DEPRESSION IS MENTAL ILLNESS:-- Too much worry can lead to stress and depression As the depression is an illness in which there exists a persistent sadness and a loss of interest in the daily normal activities If feeling depression it can be prevented with the necessary follow up described as:--1 Exercise regularly even if it is just a short walk.2 Have nourishing and well balanced meals. 3 Avoid alcohol intake and refrain from using illicit drugs these can worsen depression.4 Stay connected, keep in contact with family and the friends.5 Talk to some one and trust your feelings . 6 Seek help from your nearest phychiatrist or the mental health professional .7 Try to continue doing the things you have always enjoyed, even when you don't feel like it . 8 Try to stay away from the negative thoughts and self criticism and try to replace them with positive thoughts. 9 Sleep well on time.If one can follow the prevention of the disease parameters he can protect himself from the feeling down as too much worries can lead to stress and the depression.
