NHAI has decided to acquire land along the green field for tracking of the high speed trains

NHAI  APPOINTED NODAL OFFICER FOR ACQUISITION OF LAND TO BULLET TRAINS:-- NHAI will acquire additional land to lay tracks for high speed trains along the Greenfield express way required for the integrated development of transport net work for which the road and the railway ministries set up a four members task force to work out the modalities for acquiring land and sharing the cost .The chair man of the NHAI has stated that it can acquire land required for laying such railway lines which may be 10 to 15 meters width . The railway board has written to the NHAI giving details of the high speed rail corridors required for the bullet trains for which the details project reports are being prepared and a nodal officer has been appointed for exercising the better integrated planning of the proposal acquiring land and sharing the cost.
