AMENDMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES ACT HAS FACILITATED AN OPTION FOR M- PARIVAHAN OR THE DIGILOCKER APP ON THE SMARTPHONE

OLD MOTOR VEHICLES RULES AMENDED:--Now there is no necessity of carrying physical copy of the driving licence,RC,permits,PUC and the insurance documents of the vehicles and the digital copies in the M - Parivahan or the digilocker app on the smartphone may serve the purpose of facilitating digital verification of documents.As such law code of manual of the new rule has been declared by the government and people can raise the issue,if the rule is not followed by the enforcement authorities.The new rule of said act is shielding the good Samaritans to disclose their personal details, while coming to the rescue of road accident victims,the road transport ministry has notified the shielding of the good Samaritans by way and virtue of which no civil and the criminal action will be taken against the rescue operators while on the social service for rendering emergency medical helping attitude and necessary care to the victims as essential duty and responsibility for life security in the emergency would be shielded by the rule.ln case such a person wants to give an affidavit it shall be treated as the complete statement of the good Samaritan and in the case of eye witness the video conferencing shall be extensively used during the examination of the good Samaritan in order to prevent the harassment and inconvenience to the such good Samaritans working for the welfare of society and circle in such a position of the accidental occurance
