GOOD GOVERNANCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY MAY ENSURE DEMOCRACY FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE AND TO THE PEOPLE
Democracy under pressure and too in trouble where India is in a dire need of taking out criminals from the politics because for an efficient governance people with clean image and character are required . For doing this the Legislature, Election Commission, Supreme Court and the Civil society organizations can work in tandem. Where people may take various measures for resolving this issue such as, there should be strong laws against the entry of criminals in politics, fast track courts for criminal cases against the politicians and citizens should be made more aware of their candidates, political parties should also prevent themselves from giving tickets to criminals and state funding of elections can also be initiated to curb the use of money power, model code of conduct can be enforced in a strong manner to stop the use of caste and religion in politics. Ultimately all these measures can ensure that we should not be governed by criminal elements and for rooting out this problem every citizen should remember that if they don't enter in politics then they should be ready to be governed by their inferiors, list by way and virtue of which the citizens have been empowered with the RTI and the RTS act adjudication and they may secure their position by way of access to information and work for good governance and citizens charter, improving the ongoing system of administrative reforms organization through taking part in the debates on discussion on the captioned subject matter deliberation required to be verified for public importance, where the legislature may only settle the political scores and the presence of criminals in legislature has also degraded the high dignity of the legislatures as they are considered the temples of the democracy :-- Er Fateh Chand Guleria, Director RTI welfare Association registered number HPCD, 3552 , Bilaspur Himachal pradesh phone number 9459334377
