MINUTES OF MEETING UNDER THE BANNER OF RTI WELFARE SOCIETY REGISTERED NUMBER HPCD, 3552 RAISING CONNECTION OVER THE DEFUNCT STATUS AND POSITION OF (SIC) AND REQUESTING THE APPROPRIATE GOVERNMENT FOR NEEDFUL UNDER SUB -SECTION (3) OF SECTION 12 OF RTI ACT, 2005 , SINCE FOR ABOUT ONE YEAR OF DURATION.

It was an occasion today on 12-5-2026 while convened a RTI meeting of local group and society registered number HPCD, 3552 at Balhseena right from 10.30 am to 11.30 am which was attended by Shri Amar Nath Dhiman (Auditor) Welfare association registered number HPCD, 3552 , Shri Dharam Singh,, Member Cooperative Society local unit working at Balhseena, Shri Lekh Ram village Balhseena, Shri jagdish Ram Village Balhseena, Shri Raj Kumar Rana, Village Malari, Shri Sure Kumar village Gandhir, Shri Desh Raj Village Gujrehra, Shri Iquibal Muhammed village Malari Shri Ram Lal village Gandhir and Shri Pawan Dhatwalia, village Balhseena (President Byapar mandal local unit at Balhseena) . The members jointly expressed their concern over non compliance by the appropriate government under sub section (3) of section 12 for not appointing any SIC and SCIC in the headquarters of capital Shimla, since for about one years of duration and the people feeling tortured because of delay and dereliction of duty at the levels of State Information Commissioner for which number of requests have been made before the appropriate government in this behalf of the demand and services required for the good governance and accountability but nothing concrete has been done so for in the matter, even this much cross and pass of the retirement of former designated officers, appointed for the Second Appeals in this behalf of the complaints and corrections for the access to information as well as transparency of information which are vital to its functioning and also to contain corruption and to hold Governments and their instrumentalities accountable to the governed.
