WEATHER AFFECT ON THE CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF SOIL /ROCKS.
Structure of rocks may be divided in to two main divisions (1) Stratified and the Unstratified rocks .The stratified rocks are sedimentary rocks which are deposited in the layers ,and can be easily split Along such layers which are called planes of cleavage and the Unstratified rocks are of igneous origin origin and are stronger. As per the chemical classification of rocks according to their constituents their classification is as under (a) Silicious rocks :-- These rocks have silica (and quartz and flint) as their principle constituent and are very hard and durable, unaffected by weathering.Chief type of Silicious rocks are granites ,Traps Quartzites and the sand stones .(b) Calcareous rocks:- Calcium carbonate or lime is the main constituent of these rocks . Crystalline and compact types are hard and durable.Clay is very often found mixed in such rocks . Marbles and the lime stones are calcareous rocks .(c) Argillaceous rocks :- These rocks are of the clayey types which are more or less composed of alumina mixed with small quantities of other minerals.Slates and the laterites belong to this classification of grouping.Due to weather affect of the rains and flood occuring the soil particles becomes floating constituent of the water and manufacture silt layers of the composition . Generally the soft qualities of soil diluted with the flooded water and frame the layers of composition varieties of collection spread over the river outlays bedding framed during the course of heavy rains.
