MANDI DISTRICT BADLY AFFECTED DUE TO HEAVY RAINS, WHERE HOUSE DAMAGES OF PEOPLE OF AREA IN ADDITION TO ROAD DAMAGES CREATING CONGENITAL DISLOCATION FOR FUTURE

Heavy to very heavy rain fall occurred so in the state particularly in district Mandi have damaged houses of the villagers residing near the banks of rivers and Nallah, where roads have also badly damaged because of the heavy landslides from top of the hills, creating mudslides all over the hydraulic gradient, capturing the passage of moisture through Interspaces or pores of the soil and the rate of flow is directly proportional to the head of water and may damage the existing stata of poor soil when under pressure and the moisture content is increased. So keeping in view the above position and situation of hilly terrains existing in the areas cloud bursts converted into the flash floods and intense down pour have destroyed homes and roads of the several areas covered under affected locations of the locality in Mandi district particularly the Thunag, Dharampur and Bagsyad. All the local leaders of the areas and circle are helping affected people and families, however it may take more time to provide road connectivity for these places however department of public Works and the other concern are doing needful to open the vehicular traffic as soon as it may be connected from place to place as widespread devastation caused because of the heavy rain fall and landslides in the hilly terrains of the area and circle, where people may leave their old houses because of the such damages and occurring again and again, due to bad behavior of the soils for which geographic position of the rate of settlement of structures on saturated soil, yield under pressure when moisture content is increased, depends upon a combination of the permeability of the strata and the causing water to flow. The history of such locations should be verified by the brief descriptions and outlines of some of the more important tests, related to density /moisture content liquid limit test, shear test, bearing test  etc etc
