GHUMARWIN SUNHANI ROAD MUST BE ENSURED FOR THE SAFE ALIGNMENT OF HILL ROAD , AS IT IS YET IMPRACTICABLE TO GET OVERTAKING SIGHT DISTANCE AT NUMBER OF PLACES, EVEN COVERED UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF TWO DIVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
During the recent heavy rains the Major District Road Ghumarwin to Berthin -Talai (portion Ghumarwin to Sunhani) remained close for the essential repairs of the damages but it is regretted to point out that the seven number identified sites of the heavy slips and steep cross sectional elevations of the road damages are still required to be improved by the department, where the road width is not widened up to the required width of the portion of the existing road and the buses and other vehicular traffic going on the said road more over there is a cavity on the portion of road crust used by the vehicular traffic near ahead from village Badi and almost very near to the Nalu where a forest department nursery was maintained by the department of forest however the said cavity is not appeared in the vision of driver eyes during the course of driving over the inner curve of that portion where the road seems to be very dangerous, but not maintained for the safe visibility distance, where it should not be ignored by the department that driver's visual difficulty is magnified by hazy visibility during the rains, and the existing cavity is below the road crust, where it is not possible to protect the vision of the eye distance and the curve is existing on the inner side of the alignment of hill road and there is no possibility of visibility up to the minimum stopping sight distance all along it's length. This portion of the said road is maintained and controlled by the HPPWD Division Ghumarwin and the next reaches of the damaged roads are maintained by the Jhandutta division where it is very necessary to use the road side sign boards for the safety measures and precautionary alarms for the suggestive guidelines on the captioned subject of road damages occurred, till the improvement of the required necessitated necessity of the essential repairs made up to the possible extent of demand under the alignment of hill roads, badly damaged during the recent heavy rains and also brought on the record of the higher authorities for needful essential repairs of the practicable normality required to provide safe overtaking sight distance etc etc. Er Fateh chand Guleria, Director RTI welfare Association registered number HPCD, 3552 , Bilaspur Himachal pradesh phone number, 9459334377
