MINUTES OF ONLINE RTI MEETING CONVENED BY NATIONAL CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE ON THE OBSERVATION OF TWENTY YEARS OF THE RTI AND RESULTS OF THE EMPOWERMENT FOR (REFORMS)

It was occasion today on 11-10-2025 when attended the online meeting convened by Madam Anjali Bhardwaj a senior Guide and Advocate which was observed on the captioned subject of completion of twenty years service rendered by the Right to Information Act, 2005 which was also attended by the former CIC Shri Shailash Gandhi, in addition to other members of the National campaign Committee, working for the welfare of common man using the right to information Act, 2005 for their transparency and charter of public accountability. All the members present on this occasion highlighted their view points on the merits and demerits of the past twenty years of the Right to information Act preferred by the citizens of the country and processed under the monitoring and reporting of the parliamentary democracy of our country, responsible for the good governance and accountability, however it is realised by the senior guides and members of the Association that more and more awareness is required for the promotion of the RTI Act and the use and exercise of this Act is preferred by the general public and common man so it is necessary to have increase in the capacity building of practical regime in relation to secure access to information under the control of the public authorities in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority and required to informed citizenry and transparency of information, which are vital to its functioning and also to contain corruption and to hold governments and their instrumentalities accountable to the governed. It is found necessary to work on the captioned subject and do needful for the welfare of common man where in, it is realised that power platform do not require the use and exercise of this empowerment of the transparency and charter of public accountability and only general public and common man of the society and circle taking benefits of the Act in this behalf of the demand under public utility and it is necessary to have work on the captioned subject and follow promotion of the Right to Information Act :-Er Fateh chand Guleria, Director RTI welfare Association registered number HPCD, 3552 , Bilaspur Himachal Pradesh phone number, 9459334377
