GOVERNMENT OF INDIA AND THE DEPARTMENT OF POST AND TELEGRAPH RESPONSIBLE TO JUSTIFY THE MORE THAN DOUBLE INCREASE OF RATES TO THE REGISTRY OF LETTERS OR SPEED POST DELIVERY OF COMMUNICATION

The Government of India and the department of post and telegraph has increased rate of the registry converted into the speed post and now it has gone to minimum rate of rupee fifty five for twenty gram of the first rate for initial stage which was earlier charged for the registry equal to rupee twenty six only and the increase in the rate is enhanced more than double of the old registry rates, which is on very higher side of the increase in rate on the captioned subject of demand and services for the general public totally depending upon the post and telegraph for this purpose of the communication and postal services maintained by the Government of India and the department of post and telegraph. On the other hand the Government is taking cognisance of the said facilities of the RTI activists and volunteers and providing their registered communications from the district headquarters free of cost to the public authorities but now this increase is on very higher side of communication facilitation to the applicants and it is necessary to reduce this higher increase up to the possible extent, so that general public and the common man may take benefits of the Right to Information Act and the Right to public service guarantee Act , as a measure of the public welfare and communication facilities by way of the department of the post and telegraph, where this much increase of the registration of communication could not be considered justified, as earlier the department of post and telegraph delivering this facility of the RTI letters addressed to the public authorities free of cost but now this much increase  has been ordered for the general public and the rural areas of the interiors where it is not justified to stop registry of letters and provide it's conversion to the speed post and take more than required charges of the first stage entity made for twenty grams of the weight in the letter submitted before the post office for want of registered communication or the speed post delivery, as the Government doing it essential for enhancement of rate from rupee twenty six to fifty five, which may be reduced as a measure of the justification for the increase in more than double charges of the payments of registry converted into the speed post delivery of communication made through post and telegraph services provided by the government of India and department of post and telegraph, responsible for the justification of this much increase:- Er Fateh Chand Guleria, Director RTI welfare Association registered number HPCD, 3552 , Bilaspur Himachal Pradesh phone number 9459334377
