RTI CELEBRATION SHOULD BE CONVERSANT TO STUDY THE ACT CAREFULLY AND UNDERSTAND IT'S PROVISIONS CORRECTLY, IN THE INTEREST OF GOOD GOVERNANCE AND ACCOUNTABILITY, REQUIRED FOR JUSTICE TO THE APPLICANTS PREFERRING THIS DUTY OF THE WHISTLE BLOWER

Friends, The Awareness generation for RTI and the RTS is going on for 5th -12 th October and all the members and the Associate members of Right to Information Group registered number HPCD, 3552 , Himachal Pradesh are requested to celebrate this function of the activities which may include workshops, seminars, press meets and the online awareness generation events, required to be concluded on the 12 th October, where in it is necessary to develop and organise educational programmes to advance the understanding of the public, in particular of disadvantaged communities as to how to exercise the rights contemplated under this Act. (2) Encourage public authorities to participate in the development and organisation of programmes referred to in clause (a) and to undertake such programmes themselves. (3) promote timely and effective dissemination of accurate information by public authorities about their activities noticed by the RTI activists and volunteers;and (4) train public information officers and the First Appellate authorities of public authorities and produce relevant training materials for use by the public authorities themselves. It is felt that public information officers are not going on the access to information as per required guidelines and applicants are not satisfied with the work and conduct of the given information and the Act provide for the two Appeals under this condition of the demand and supply of information by the public information officers, where in the first appeal is preferred before the public authority and the second appeal goes to the SIC or CIC as the case may be.
