DEVELOPED COUNTRIES MUST TAKE LEAD IN GLOBAL TRANSITION TOWARDS NET ZERO: INDIA
To keep global warming to no more than 1.5 degree centigrade, green house gas emissions have to be reduced by 45 percent by 2030 and must reach net zero by 2050 , according to the United Nations and the developed countries must take lead in global transition towards the net zero is necessary as per the view point of India .The maximum impact of the climate change is being borne by the poorest countries and most vulnerable communities who have contributed the least to the crises .India has further stated that the developed nations with their historical experiences must take lead in the global transition towards the net zero.The maximum impact of the climate crises is being borne by the poorest countries and the most vulnerable communities, which has contributed to the least to the climate crises and lack the Finance , technology and capacity to significantly alter the status quo .First Secretary in India's permanent mission to the UN speaking at the Special high level dialogue of the presidents of the General assembly and the economic and social council has on Africa reconfirming the development of Africa as a priority of the United Nations where in the world body has explained that net zero meaning cutting green house gas emissions to as close to zero as possible,with any remaining emissions re-absorbed from the atmosphere,by oceans and the forests for instance of the keep global warming to no more than 1.5 degree centigrade and for which the developed countries must must take lead in the global transition towards the historical experiences to bring it at the level of the system for permanent mission of the United Nations.
