INSTRUCTIONS OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF INDIA TO LINK AADHAR CARD WITH VOTER CARDS

LINKING OF AADHAR CARD  WITH VOTER CARD:-- As per the instructions of the Government of India and the Election Commission (ECI) linking of Aadhar card with voter cards is currently underway and about more than two lakh people have linked their Aadhar cards with the voter cards . The exercise as continued is mainly aimed at establishing the identity of electors and also to authenticate the entries in the electoral rolls to ascertain if the same person has been registered in more than one constituency or more than once in the same constituency. Citizens can link their Aadhar card with their voter cards online through NVSP.com  or with the help of the voter Helpline app . Under a special drive being conducted from August 22 to September 7,booth level officers (BLOs) will make door -to -door visits to collect Aadhar data .The door -to-door compaign is also aimed at helping Citizens with voter registration for which a special camp may be held in all the polling stations to help the Citizens of Society and circle.
