SJVN SIGNS CONTRACT AGREEMENT FOR POWER TRANSMISSION OF LUHRI HYDRO PROJECT STAGE-1 WITH KALPATARU POWER TRANSMISSION LIMITED

SJVN has entered in to an agreement for construction of 220 KV D/C single zebra transmission line for 210 MW Luhri hydro Electric Project Stage -1 with Kalpataru Power transmission limited.This was stated by its CMD Nand Lal Sharma and he further apprised that this hydro Electric Project, which is spread over the network for Shimla , Mandi and Kullu districts of the Himachal Pradesh will be connected with 220/400 KV GIS pooling at Nanj  in district Mandi via ISTS network for the power transmission.The said agreement envisages an expenditure of rupees 71.18 crores and too including the end to end delivery of commissioned transmission line by August 2024 .Hence a period of two years have been taken by the SJVN to complete the transmission line, single zebra for 210 MW Luhri hydro Electric Project stage-1 with Kalpataru Power transmission limited.
