PANCHAYATI RAJ DEPARTMENT WOULD HAVE TO WORK HARD AND BECOME SELF -RELIANT.

Panchayati Raj department, government of India minister of state Shri Kapil Patil has stated that Panchayats would have to work hard to increase their income from their own resources to become self -reliant so that they did not have to depend on the government for development.Union minister of state for Panchayati Raj too announced a programme in this behalf of the functions allowing Panchayats to showcase their good working in the states .Mr Patil was attending and inaugurating a two days National workshop on the captioned subject matter deliberation required to be maintained under the localisation of the sustainable development programmes and goals in the Panchayati Raj Department through thematic approaches on the village with creativity of the self sufficient infrastructure. The central minister appreciated the Punjab government for becoming the first state to hold such national workshop and conference required for the development of the villages.He also assured the state government of Punjab that necessary funds would be released for proposals to be sent by the Punjab government according to the charter of the programme given by the central Schemes and it's proposal for the welfare of Panchayati Raj taken in hand by the Panchayats working for the welfare of people of villages .The funds that had been stopped on the technical grounds and flaws required by the Panchayati Raj Department would be released to the concerned after completion of the codal formalities and demand under public utilities.On this occasion of the workshop and conference the Punjab Panchayati Raj Department minister stated that the state is facing the financial crises and the center should provide special financial package to the state to improve its deteriorating fiscal situation .
